Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

A hard-copy brochure mailed to cancer survivors was the ideal strategy for the Resources for Life After Cancer team to promote their virtual events because it provided a tangible, personal touch. Many survivors appreciate receiving physical materials they can hold onto, which can serve as a comfortable reminder of available support resources. In an age where digital communication can often feel impersonal and overwhelming, a thoughtfully designed brochure stands out and can be easily reference.

Our approach to writing the 2023 brochure centered on delivering concise and clear program descriptions that effectively engage our audience by directly addressing their evolving needs. Understanding that this audience often faces overwhelming emotions and information, we prioritized straightforward language that cuts through complexity and provides essential details without unnecessary jargon. Each program description highlights the unique benefits and support offered, ensuring that readers can quickly grasp how these resources align with their specific situations.
